It has been a HOT minute since I have even thought about this blog. I started it with good intentions, to document special moments in my life, home, marriage, family, etc. …but life gets busy and you have to prioritize what is important to you.
Unfortunately (or fortunately?) my blog fell to the wayward side.
Honestly, I even forgot how to log in to this darn thing. It asked me a million security questions and for some reason, when I logged in initially, everything was in French.
ummm WHAT?!
As a quick catch-up, I'll hit some highlights for y'all!
Where am I?
Still happily married (7 years!) to my high school sweetheart, living in Arkansas, with our beautiful and wild 2.5 year old boy, and our stinky/old grouch Marley the Yorkie (who is 12 now!) Still working as a NICU RN, just less hours these days.
What's new?
We are expecting baby #2 in May and it has not even registered with Big Brother R yet. Like, he doesn't even have a CLUE. This should be… fun!
What's next?
I'm not really sure what God's plan holds for our lives. Some days we want to move into the city, closer to our jobs. Other days we want to move further away from civilization (LOL)! With baby #2 on the way and a very active toddler at home, I am trying to mentally prepare for the wild ride ahead! We are very excited about this blessing, but nervous about the transition. I've had multiple people tell me going from 1 to 2 isn't as bad as going from 2-3. I'm not really sure that "helps" but oh well! ;)
Well, that's all I can do for now. I hear my little man stirring in his room, so our day is about to begin!
